The Agora Barcelona boarding residence opened in September 2023 and was built specifically for international students aged 12–18. Fully integrated within the campus, students never need to leave the environment for any part of their daily routine: shared rooms, common study and relaxation areas, outdoor garden spaces, and a structured schedule that balances training, academics, meals, study, and rest. Residential staff supervise students throughout the day and overnight, with consistent curfews, check-ins, and wellbeing monitoring.

Barcelona is Your City
The campus is 25 km from Barcelona, close enough to experience one of Europe's greatest cities, far enough to maintain the focus elite development requires. Cultural excursions, professional basketball games (Barça Bàsquet, Joventut Badalona, Baxi Manresa), beach days, and city activities are part of the APEX lifestyle calendar. For many international players, Barcelona becomes a second home.
An International Community
Our students come from the Americas, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. They arrive as basketball players and leave as global citizens. APEX intentionally builds small, multicultural cohorts where players learn from each other, across different backgrounds, languages, and perspectives around a shared commitment to excellence.
Common questions about daily life.
Can parents visit during the year?
Yes. We encourage family visits throughout the year. Our team coordinates campus access, hotel recommendations in Barcelona, and family meetings with coaches and tutors.
How is overnight supervision handled?
Players live on the Agora Barcelona campus under 24/7 residential staff supervision, with assigned dorm parents and on-site security. Curfews, room checks, and structured study hours are part of the daily rhythm.
What is the food like, and how is nutrition handled?
All meals are planned by a sports nutritionist and prepared on campus. Menus rotate weekly, accommodate cultural and dietary needs, and protein, carbohydrate, and recovery windows are timed around the training schedule.
